I am really interested in all the different forms of magic. My friend is a native Canadian, and she has seen people who can do shape shifting (black magic) and a healer remove a curse that was brought into a house. In their culture, magic must be passed from parent to child or it will die out. The old healer she knew was really good and had been known to successfully treat cancer, but when he died, his kids had zero interest in pursuing the craft. According to her, there is a lot to learn about the herbs and spells, and people always needing help but not a lot of money to be made. I don't think they can charge for their help, but the can take donations. A braid of sweetgrass must be given to the person needing it, if it is sold, it loses all its power.
