Alright, not silent Sunday because I have to talk about this. I have seen it done as a tattoo. Though that was runes, not alchemy. But the idea is the same, have a symbol/s on your arm, touch them and mentally say a spell. Magick on your body, you are the vessel, and you can do it any time without notice. I often charge my jewelry and during stressful encounters with difficult people, I will start fiddling with my rings and silently chant to keep myself safe and calm. What kind of magick do you want close at hand?
