Hello, My Lovely Readers

All 3 of you. Ok, maybe 5 remain so I'll get A Comment in a day or two.

My little daughter is now five months old. She is trying her best to crawl. She can't quite manage it because she can barely sit up unaided. She just doesn't have the core muscles yet. But she can scoot all over the place so we can't leave her laying on the bed unattended. She's also teething. Slobber coats the sleeves of every garment I wear. Gabby has become gabby. She coos, gabbers, and shrills. Will is utterly charmed by her every sound.

For my birthday I got a monkey fist knot loom. It's handy in that I can put the knot down without worrying about starting over. This makes it easy to add in magick; I can now work/bless/enchant each stage of tying the knot. The down side is the instructions suck and I tend to forget that. So without thinking I'll pick up the loom, find my place in the instructions to see what I should do next and it is not until the end when I try to tighten the knot that I realize my mistake. Then I have to start over. I was planning to make a Stitch Witch spell book anyway so clear monkey fist knot instructions might be a great starting point.

The sewing studio is progressing slowly. Right now I'm still doing most work in the house but storing materials in the shed and I almost always have to go back out there to find some essential notion. The shed remains organized. Remember, don't let your children in!

I have been gardening. Yes, it's January. I'm clearing areas where plants can grow. We have a ton of rocks from the old house's foundation so I have rock boarders everywhere. Will and I are figuring out how to landscape our yard. We drive through neighborhoods looking for ideas. All we really learned thus far is what we don't like.

I don't have a better schedule and I certainly don't have more days, but I do seem to be settling into a routine. And that makes life a bit easier.

Glad to hear from you again! keeping things organized with kids around is a full time job. I remember that well. Enjoy your little girl throughout all her stages. Some are much easier than others. Mine are grown and still going through stages. But then, so am I. :)

It won't be long before the azaleas are blooming & it'll be time to plant.

Knowing what you don't like is a step towards knowing what you like. :o)

A monkey knot loom? Whoda thought! And a Stitch Witch spell book! How cool!
